 Our computer technology program is continuously evolving to reflect technology changes in today’s world. Our overall goal is to provide students with a solid foundation in computer technology, as well as the confidence to navigate through unfamiliar programs.
At MJDS, we are privileged to have two computer laboratories for classroom activities,a mini-lab in the media center, and a mobile lab with laptop computers for classroom teachers to utilize. In addition, we have ten SMART Boards for interactive teaching, school-wide wireless network and a computer in each classroom. The technology curriculum spirals and incorporates the State of Wisconsin standards and the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS). Students start using the formal curriculum in Senior Kindergarten.
