Affording MJDS

A remarkable education -- now affordable more than ever.

We are committed to ensuring all Jewish children have access to a high-quality MJDS education. We are able to do this by charging the amount that’s right for each family through our Tuition Affordability Guide (TAG), which begins at $1,000 a year – that’s only $83 a month. There are also financial benefits for families with multiple children. Moreover, families in Wisconsin can benefit from a tax deduction of up to $4,000 for tuition paid for each kindergarten – eighth grade student in private school.

Affordable Tuition Tailored to Your Family

Our Tuition Affordability Guide (TAG) provides an estimate of how much your family will contribute for one year at MJDS. Every household, however, has unique financial circumstances, and we work closely with each family to make sure an MJDS education is attainable.

MJDS tuition is affordable thanks to financial support from generous donors, multi-year pledges, Bader Philanthropies, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and unrestricted endowment funds. Family tuition is always strictly confidential.

Total Modified Income

Total modified income is gross family income reduced by factors such as self-employment tax or partnership pass-through income, and increased by factors such as gifts and child support. There are multiple factors that can impact a family’s budget. That’s why we strongly encourage you to contact us to learn more about our Tuition Affordability Guide and get an idea of what tuition might be for your family.
