Senior Kindergarten

Students formally begin learning about technology in their senior kindergarten classrooms. They use the classroom workstation to reinforce math, language arts and reading skills. Second semester they come to the computer lab once per week to learn lab etiquette, parts of the computer, special keys, logging on to the system, and opening and closing applications. They learn basic drawing and paint skills using KidPix software. They are introduced to internet navigation using Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox to open educational games, information sites, and study Jewish holidays.
